Save Moo!

Moo is an 8 week old terrier mix puppy whose mom was rescued by Noah's Bark. She was very malnourished and we were quite surprised to find out she was PREGNANT! Within a few weeks mommy had 5 beautiful puppies. At 7 weeks of age, we discovered that one of the puppies, Moo, had a distinct heart murmur.Today we took Moo to the cardiologist at City of Angeles and after 45 minutes of testing, we found out he has Pulmonic Stenosis - one of his heart valve openings is too narrow.The heart must pump extra hard to get the blood through this unusually narrow valve. Pressure through the valve greater than 80 mm is considered severe.His pressure is 196 mm.Everyday his heart is working over time.He is at significant risk of heart attack or sudden death if he does not have corrective surgery in the next week.Without surgery he will die.His surgery is scheduled on 5/4/12.
